Up at the 02
The most exciting of all of our DClub
outings so far, and certainly the
most adventurous, was DClub’s O2
climb. The event was fully booked
with 14 children and 4 parents
braving the 90-minute ascent and
descent with the photos to prove it!
It's no coincidence that the dome is 52m high
— it represents the weeks of the year. Then
there are the 12 equally spaced 100m high
yellow support towers — set out like a clock
face to represent time and the 12 months of
the year. Our DClub children walked up the
sides of The O2 which is 365m in diameter,
representing the number of days in the year.
