JDA’S FAMILY FUN DAY
During one of the hottest summers on record,
JDA Family Services welcomed nearly 100 guests
just as the heavens opened! Thankfully, there
was plenty of indoor space and a wide range of
engaging activities to keep everyone entertained.
Children enjoyed a fantastic balloon entertainer,
creative face painting, a wacky photobooth, a
mind-blowing magician and even a colourful soft
play area for our youngest members.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of Pimm’s and
enjoyed a spectacular spread of teatime treats.
As the weather improved, Brinthan and Luke (from
Barnet Deaf Football Club) ran a fabulous football
session for the children outside — a particular
highlight for many of the kids!
Everyone had a marvellous time and we
are very grateful to The Rubin Foundation
Charitable Trust, who very generously
sponsored this event once again.
Lauren (mum) said: “Thank you Joanna and
Jody for yesterday! It was my 昀椀rst JDA event,
and to be honest, I was a little apprehensive,
but I needn't have been! It was so inspiring
speaking to other parents and meeting their
fabulous kids. I have no doubt Solly will be
absolutely 昀椀ne, and I'm so grateful for the JDA's
support. Looking forward to the next one!”
