A WINDY DAY IN SOUTHEND-ON-SEA
George Panayi writes:
It was a grey and
windy day, but we all
had a great time in
Southend-on-Sea!
After our lovely 昀椀sh and
chip lunch together, we
split into groups and
headed o昀昀 to di昀昀erent
places.
Our men’s group strolled around town like a
Boy Band with chat and swagger! I enjoyed the
afternoon with this group. We agreed we’d like to
see the shopping centre. For some of them,
it was their 昀椀rst time in Primark. I couldn’t believe
it! We also went to Waterstones bookstore and
other shops. We 昀椀nished with delicious ice cream.
In the end, we travelled to Southend-on-Sea for
昀椀sh and chips and shopping… haha! But it was
lovely! Thank you, JDA, for a great day out
together with other Deaf people — that’s
what’s most important to us all!
